After launching the AdvancedMiner Client, the graphical user interface screen will be displayed. The following screenshot presents the typical windows setup.
If AdvancedMiner is launched for the first time the visible compionents and their positions may be different. Use the Window | menu to open the desired components of the user interface. (see this movie).
The main components of graphical user interface that the user needs to be familiar with are:
Projects - displays the project files and Metadata Repository.
Services - contains a list of current aliases to data sources, a list of current running processes and a list of context scripts.
Editor - the window for various editors like: script editor, chart editor etc.
Properties - presents the properties of the object that is currently selected (e.g. in the picture above it is classification tree visualization parameters).
Outputdisplays the output generated by executing scripts.
Log - displays the system logs (e.g. status of executed processes, warnings or errors that may occur).
The components can be freely moved, zoomed (by double-clicking on their tab) or minimized according to user preferences. You can watch the movie presenting interactions with the windows components.
